CONSULTING

It might be that either your frame size or the component (frame/fork/crank) has not yet found its way to us.

Of course, yes. We are the manufacturer of the paint protection films. We not only create the cutout films and sell them in our online store, but we also wrap your bikes. Just contact us via contact form .

The professional application of the "extended version" incl. film set on your frame costs 204,89 €.
If you would also like to have your fork and/or crank wrapped, you are welcome to ask for an individual quote. Angebot erfragen.

Speaking from personal experience, the frame/fork/crank should be disassembled before being wrapped. If this is not possible, at least the wheels and the chain (if chain lock is present) should be dismantled.

Yes. This allows the bike (component) to be better aligned. This greatly aids in the application of the film, allowing for vertical alignment and for working in a comfortable posture.

Your bike should be, if possible, new or meticulously cleaned (washed and degreased) and not polished. Because the wrapping is done wet, it may still flush dirt out of the smallest crevices that could get under the paint protection film.

It depends on the severity of the scratches/paint chips. If these are already larger, it makes no sense. This is because the scratches are still just as visible after application, and it can happen that you make the paint chips even larger when you remove the film.

It's definitely possible. It should be noted that the matte surface will look glossy after application of glossy film. Conversely, if matte film is applied to glossy paint, the surface will appear matte.

Here is an example that clearly illustrates the application of a "mixed version" set.

ORDERING

You should, if possible, only place an order with us when you are 100% sure that you will actually receive your frame/fork or crank. From an ecological and economic point of view, it is always an advantage if ordered goods are actually used and do not have to be returned and stored (until they are no longer usable).

You only pay shipping once, regardless of the order quantity. You can find more information about shipping costs here.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM

The "Standard Version" is the smaller set of both. Here, on the whole, all the important areas on the bike are taken into account.
The "Extended Version" is the larger set and comes pretty close to a full wrap. The set is more extensive, larger, and contains more segments that need to be adhered. It requires more work to apply, but it is certainly worth it.

In this case, we have a selection for some frames: Film type – mixed
Here, the glossy and matte areas are taken into account and wrapped accordingly.

Yes, it's possible. It is important that the film is pulled off slowly and carefully and not torn. It is also important to ensure that the film is not under tension during removal.
Using the example of the top tube: first pull off the sides on the left and right towards the middle. Then remove the segment from the top down.
You can also use a hair dryer to help. This can be used to heat the film, which helps facilitate a gentle removal.

A "Standard Kit" weighs around 50g.
A "Extended Kit" weighs around 75g.

No, this cannot happen with our films. We attach great importance to quality films from XPEL, the market leader in paint protection film.
